Resource’s very own Ellie Varicak had the opportunity to show how great design can not only help a business put their best foot forward but can become a meaningful part of a community.
Resource designer and purveyor of fun facts, Ellie Varicak had the opportunity to show off the finer side of her artistic abilities on a personal project as she spent weekends painting a mural for family friends at The Grattafiori Group in Acworth, Georgia. The sprawling “Welcome Home” was meant to succinctly visualize the realty group’s primary purpose as well as welcome visitors to the downtown area. But as beautiful design often tends to do, the mural has already taken on a deeper meaning for the surrounding community. After spending 1900 days waiting to be adopted, a young man finally found his new family. To celebrate, he had his picture taken with the mural as he was welcomed to his new home.
