As the hustle and bustle of the holiday season draws near,
The Resource team would like to bring you some cheer!
But what should we do to celebrate such a wonderful year?
To show our appreciation with creation, my dear!
Branding and design, yes that’s what we do
But let’s celebrate the season in a way that is new
So we made a little video, find it below
Thanks for all you do and enjoy the show!
Our very own Kristie Feltner, chalkboard artist extraordinaire, dreamed up this creative way to share our message of holiday cheer. With the help of the highly-talented videographer Reid Childers, Resource was able to team up with Eyesome Productions to bring our vision to life.
BEHIND THE SCENES: Q&A WITH THE ARTIST
How long have you been a chalkboard artist?
Out of the womb, maybe kindergarten age, who knows?
“I call her the chalk master.”- Rick
Where did you get your pattern inspiration for the letters?
Alcohol, Google & Pinterest, duh.
Do you always wear the antlers this time of year?
Naughty or nice?
What are you asking Santa for this year?
Another cat. Just kidding… well, I would 100% take a cat.
Favorite holiday treat you can’t live without?
Brandy or bourbon in your Eggnog?
I prefer milk and cookies. Sorry, Santa.
Any quirky holiday traditions in your family?
The Spoiled-Only-Child-Tradition; my parents do a “12 Days of Kristie” where I get a gift in my stocking every day for 12 days before Christmas. After high school they said it would stop, but they still do it. Muahahaha…
White lights or colored?
No lights, just candles.
As a 24 year-old believer in Santa, what keeps your faith strong?
My friends, the elves… they send me letters from the North Pole every day.
- It only took one piece of chalk to do the whole mural
- The mural took 3 hours from start to finish
- Nothing was erased or redrawn, except the Resource “R” on the exclamation mark—Gotta keep the brand on point! (pun intended)
– NO ELVES WERE HARMED IN THE MAKING OF THIS VIDEO –
